Over the past 6 months, Hydra has quickly evolved from its genesis stage maintained by a few core nodes into a major network with hundreds of nodes distributed across 50+ countries, with currently five projects being built on it and a validated economy like no other blockchain has to offer.
New community members are joining daily and the real-world adoption has begun to unfold through businesses like LockTrip and Gomeat, which utilize Hydra chain for their operations.
At the same time, the infrastructure of Hydra is also gaining strength through new exchange listings, a wider selection of staking pools, new wallet versions being deployed, and the recent launch of the upgraded Testnet network.
Today we are here to tell you that all this is just the beginning of a much bigger roadmap and vision, which aims to revolutionize entire industries, both in the crypto space as well as traditional industries such as Travel.
In the above overview you can see that the currently established elements of the ecosystem (Staking economy and token projects, shown in blue) only constitute a fraction of what the network will evolve into. Major projects like Rezchain, Decentralized Finance and the NFT Marketplace (Yes, you read that right!) are yet to be introduced and could be viewed as core branches due to their size and significance.

As we’ve updated our community in the latest progress update, the DEX is starting to become a reality — with most of the work being complete (Especially on the blockchain side of things) and final touches/improvements being made to the user interface. We want the first impression to be a good one!

Interacting with the DEX and performing swaps will be as easy as connecting your wallet, entering the swap that you want to make, and approving the transaction in the interface.
Hydra Liquidity Bridge
After the launch of the DEX, the next step will be to attract capital from other chains, such as Ethereum. For that purpose, we are currently designing a powerful liquidity bridge, which will allow for capital to flow into the Hydra ecosystem and contribute to the growth of the Hydra DEX.
As more capital flows in, it will lock up HYDRA through organic demand and powerful liquidity mining programs. The bigger the liquidity pools, the stronger the network effect will become, which in turn will generate a proportional stream of swap transactions and HYDRA burns.
